The Scottsdale Air Fair 2012 lineup of historical, current and experimental planes, hot air balloons, interactive displays and live entertainment is sure to please aviation enthusiasts young and old alike.
Aerial Activities – The air will be “buzzing” with the sound of military jet fly-overs, helicopter take-offs, vintage warbird formation flights and the continual arrival or departure of numerous types of aircraft.
Static Displays – The flying excitement is not just in the air! There is so much to see at the Scottsdale Air Fair! Static displays include military historical, vintage and current planes along with helicopters, military ground equipment, emergency response vehicles and the latest in aviation technology. Go inside the planes, meet the pilots and explore aviation first hand.
Ground Attractions – The Scottsdale Air Fair features a host of attractions that children of all ages will enjoy. Participants can explore the industry booths, interactive and educational displays, aviation simulators and the kid’s activity zone. Marching bands, parades, face painters, live music and stage performers will dazzle the crowd.
Just for Kids – The Scottsdale Air Fair is focused on activities on the ground and giving event goers an opportunity to learn about and explore aviation. The air fair is all about a hands on, interactive experience – guests will get to look inside planes, talk to pilots and get an up close look at a variety of aviation. Attendees will enjoy family-friendly activities including:
