History
In 1985, the first Scottsdale Air Fair was held on the airport grounds. The show continued for fourteen years with the last show being held in 2000. After an eleven-year absence, the City of Scottsdale is once again bringing back the Scottsdale Air Fair.
Mission
The Scottsdale Air Fair mission is to provide a family oriented aviation event that connects the community and surrounding businesses with the Scottsdale Airport. Provide opportunities for the community to participate and experience past and present military and civilian aircraft, as well as delivering aviation education and awareness by inspiring all generations with the excitement of flight.
Giving Back to the Community
Over 20,000 event-goers will experience the Scottsdale Air Fair and have an opportunity to support local charities. The Scottsdale Air Fair supports the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program and other community organizations. Over 200 local volunteers will donate their time and give back to the community during the Scottsdale Air Fair.
